Event Summary
Event Overview
A one off evening of team events. There will be 2 groups, one doing Team Pursuit and one doing Team Sprint.
Team Pursuit is for teams of 3 riders and will be over 8 laps/2000m. Each team will ride a qualifier, first round and final.
Team Sprint is for teams of 2 riders. Each rider will each get an individual timed flying lap and then teams will get a qualifier, first round and final ride, over 2 laps.
Normal track league equipment restrictions for this event are not in place, so wheels and pursuit bars are as per BC technical regulations (U14 riders 35mm wheel depth max, U16 riders no restriction). Also for this event riders do not need to be members of the Derby Arena Youth Track League, although preference will be given to teams made up from Track League members
Places are limited to 8 team pursuit teams and 8 team sprint teams. Teams may be mixed age and/or mixed gender
