Event Summary

Event Overview

Saturday 11th May 2019.  The Wooler Wheel Borderlands.

A repeat of our successful feast of sportive cycling which is now in its 6th year. Taking place in Northumberland and Scottish Borders, there is a choice of 4 routes with nominal distances of 170, 100, 60 km and and a dedicated 30km junior sportive for under 16 year olds.

Entries for this event are now open (entries close Sunday 5th May 2019).

Enjoy these rides for their own sake or use them as part of your training programme, for example, if you're a road racer or a triathlete.

Saturday 5th October 2019.  The Wooler Wheel Classic.

The original which has run since 2012 and continues to grow in popularity.  Along with the two existing routes of 50km and 100km this year in repsonse to rider requests we are offering a 75km route.  All routes take in the beautiful North Northumberland countryside.  A great introduction for first time sportivers, but still demanding rides for experienced cyclists.  A perfect way to wind down the season for elite cyclists. Entries for this event are now open (entries close Sunday 29th September 2019).
