Event Overview

Track Club Cluster at Newport. Riders don't need any previous track riding experience for this session. Riders will be on the track 2-4pm and workshop 4-5pm which will include information on the track pathway (parents are welcome to come).

Open to riders who are:

-          Aged 10-16 years old and who are a member of a Go Ride club

-          Interested in upskilling their current skills

-          Want to aim to race in the future if they haven't previously

-          British Cycling Members (Free for the first Youth Year from British Cycling) https://www.britishcycling.org.uk/membership

Club clusters are a way for riders from different clubs to come and learn together. The session will be 50% skill and 50% fitness so please come with an open mind ready to learn. This is also an opportunity to join the development pathway before moving to a performance program such as a Club Cluster of Training 14 years old +

PLEASE NOTE: this track session is open to riders who haven't ridden the track before. If you have always wanted a go on the track but never had the opportunity now is your chance! Please wear 2 layers on top, tight fitting bottoms, gloves and a helmet. Helmet and gloves can be purchased at the velodrome if you don't have your own. Track bike hire needs to be arranged through Newport Live please call: 01633 656757
