Paris2penybont - The Last Leg (Chipping Sodbury to Penybont)

OnRoad Leisure , Bridgend – Saturday, 18 Jul 2015

Event Summary

Event Overview

The 75 mile bike ride will allow approx riders to join a group of 8 riders who are cycling from Paris to Penybont (Bridgend, S Wales). The ride is a charity ride and all proceeds will be going to Anthony Nolan.

The ride will be in memory of 8 year old Hollie Clark, who sadly passed away in November after losing losing the battle against leukaemia. Hollie had a successful bone marrow transplant but sadly lost the battle. We started a campaign #pantsonyourhead which noted many celebs joining in to help find a transplant donor when Hollie was told there wasn't a match in the world. We hope to increase awareness of the BMT and Anthony Nolan donor register.

The final day starts in Chipping Sodbury and finishes in Bridgend. We have done the route and it is a fantastic ride with stunning scenery.

THE £25 ENTRY FEE GOES DIRECT TO ANTHONY NOLAN.
