Event Summary

Event Overview

A fund raising ride for Rob Camm from Dursley who is 20 years old and suffered life changing injuries in a car accident in September 2013.  He has been left paralysed from the neck down and is dependent on a ventilator.  Rob has accepted a place at Bristol University and we are raising funds to provide specialist equipment.

The ride totals approximately 50 miles, but it is split into 4 legs from 10 miles to 17 miles so riders can complete just one leg or several if they wish. Covering some beautiful scenic countryside encompassing the Severn Vale and the edge of the Cotswold escarpment, the route is predominantly on country roads and back routes so it is suitable for the hobby cyclist.  There are a few climbs in the middle to latter part of the ride.
