Event Overview

High quality coaching sessions exclusively for women and girls over 16 who wish to develop their riding and racing skills. There is no requirement for any prior racing or group riding experience and you will be coached through new techniques at a pace that is comfortable in a low pressure environment. These sessions are run at traffic-free facilities by British Cycling regional coaches and numbers are limited.

  • Ride with friends and others of similar ability
  • Develop bike handling techniques
  • Learn about group riding techniques and etiquette
  • Develop cycling fitness

Techniques we will be working on:

  • Cornering
  • Group riding
  • Climbing
  • Descending
  • Braking
  • Sprinting

What you need to bring:

  • Bike
  • Helmet
  • Clothing suitable for cycling and the weather conditions (too warm is better than being cold)
  • Food and drink (enough for the session)
