Event Details:

All rides start and finish at Preston Arena and proceed across the Fylde via Pilling to Scorton. From Scorton Ride 1 enters the scenic Forest of Bowland, where riders encounter 3 major climbs, Jubilee Tower, the Trough Of Bowland (site of memorial plaque to Bill) and Waddington Fell, all climbs that Bill used for training and pleasure.

All these climbs have featured in many editions of the Tour of Britain.

Ride 2 follows the same route to Scorton, from here there are two options. Either the high road over Harris End and Oakenclough Fells, or lower the road past Barnacre Church. Most of the roads are quiet and are very scenic.
