Bob Prince became the first winner of the Dave Blinston Trophy on Sunday 22 January, awarded annually to the cycle speedway referee of the year.
Bob having received this following his performance in this role in 2011. This perpetual award is presented to the referee who receives the best assessment from cycle speedway team managers throughout the season.
