Quebrantahuesos sportive
By Train_in_Spain - Monday, 15th February 2010

If any of you tried to enter Spain's biggest and best sportive and missed out on a place then contact www.traininspain.net which has a small number of guaranteed entries for UK riders left.

16,000 Spanish cyclists tried to get in for 2010 meaning 8,000 missed out and they would bite your hand off for a place. It is as big as the Etape but, most say, better organised. It is a UCI Golden bike event and has been running for around 20 years. It takes place in the Pyrenees and includes Somport, Marie Blanque and Portalet - 3500 metres of height gained over 205 kms.

It takes place on Saturday 19th June.

Get in touch soon, entries will be submitted this month.
