CWCC 3 Stage Youth Event

Sunday, 28th of March 2004; Police HQ, Middlesbrough

A record field of 37 riders in the Catagory A/B and 12 in the younger Catagory lined up for the Cleveland Wheelers Youth 3 stage event. Stage 1 consisted of a scratch race around the 0.75mile peremeter road of Cleveland Police HQ, in Middlesbrough. In the A/B event promoting club member Steven Harrison beat regular visitor, Adam Blythe, Planet X, by a bike length with Mark Bateman 3rd Triangle RT.

In the younger Catagory race Adam Oliver (Dare Racing) pipped Hugh Carthy (Science in Sport .com) and with Laura Allen 3rd (New Brighton CC).

Stage 3 was a devil this time Mark was the winner by half a bike length from Adam with Simon 3rd leaving Adam overall winner O/A.
