The Pete Gannon Memorial Road Race

Sunday, 28th March 2004; Fairburn Ledston Circuit; 1/2/3/4; 103Km

After only 2 laps of a 14 lap race, a 12 strong group lead by Wayne Randle broke away and over the next 10 laps, the group was whittled down from 12 to 7 riders until with only two laps to go, Randle decided to go it alone and that was how it stayed with Randle winning it and Matt Armitage winning the 6 up sprint for 2nd place.
