UCI Cyclo-Cross World Cup Series
Round 1, Italy

A team from Great Britain travelled to Italy for the first round of the World Cup for Cyclo Cross. First of the Brits in the event was Matt Ellis while winner of the Matlock round of the National Series, Jody Crawforth (Evans Cycles) was next. He was followed by the leader of the National Series, Dave Collins (SIS) who missed his own clubs mega promotion to travel to Italy, with up and coming Steven Roach (Rugby Velo) finishing the event just behind Collins. In the Womens event, Victoria Wilkinson (SIS) was a fine 12th.
