UPDATE: PHOTO GALLERY
Gallery from the event now available. Thanks to Michael Humphreys for the photos.

Presentation night went well, with almost all the the riders that have taken part in this years Summer in the Park there. It took place in the pavilion in Dartford central park, next to where the racing has taken place over the last ten weeks. This all took part after the last race.

All trophies down to sixth place was sponsored by CICLOS UNO. Kirk Jenns and Alex Aldham-Breary, two memebers of their youth squad were asked to present the under 12s and 10s trophies. While trophies for 7th and 8th, in the under 12s, 10s and 8s were donanted by the Stoddart family. Organiser Clive Jenns also asked a local rider Jessica Stoddart [ Interbike rt ], who competes regularly in Belgium and England at the highest level to present the under 8 prizes. Every rider below 8th place in the under 8s got a medal and every rider across all cats got a certificate if they done one or more events with an overall position on it.

All went well and many people wanted to know the dates for next year, Jenns replied " 2004 dates should be out soon, as soon as we get the go ahead from Dartford BC". Then added "It's good to see so many youngsters enjoying riding their bikes " he continued " not just the faster ones. The others who turned up most weeks and had a good race and made lots of new friends".

A big thank you went out to Bill Lewis and all of the Team Darenth parents, along with Lee Valley Youth CC for running the last two rounds. Thanks to Brian Rix for patching up the minor cuts ect and for dealing with Robert Whenman on more than one occasion. Robert being the reason the last bend has been given a name, " Whenman Falls".
