Great Britain Team for Moscow World Track Cup

The first World Track Cup for 2004 is to be held in two weeks between the 13th and 15th of February in Moscow, Russia. Held on the 333 metre wooden indoor track, the event will give the riders in the Great Britain team the opportunity to gain qualifying points in various events in order to qualify places for Great Britain at the World Championships in Melbourne, Australia in May. The 3rd round of the World Cup is being held in Manchester (April).

Travelling to compete in the Velodrome Krylatskoye are the following riders:

 1  Steve Cummings         Pursuit
 2  Craig MacLean          Team Sprint
 3  Jason Queally          Team Sprint & Kilo
 4  Chris Hoy	           Team Sprint
 5  Chris Newton           Points
 6  Dean Downing           Madison
 7  Russell Downing        Madison
 8  Victoria Pendleton     Sprint Events
 9  Ross Edgar             Sprint Events
