BRITISH CYCLING NATIONAL COUNCIL
We are preparing a detailed summary of the weekend's
National Council metting, the annual meeting of British Cycling's members,
divisions and affiliated bodies.
In the meantime, as always there is much interest surrounding
the Membership and licence fees for the forthcoming year. The following
were passed during the meeting.

The Quarterly racing calendar magazine subscription price for Silver
and Bronze members has increased from £10.00 to £12.50.
(£15.00 RRP to non-members) Subject to possible amendment at the
board meeting on the 6th Dec.
The reason for the increase in Gold membership is down to the substantial
increase in our Personal Accident insurance premium, ( which is available
to Gold members only) because of a large number of claims we had in
2003. It still offers a great saving however for Personal Accident insurance,
if members were to go out and get a quote off the high street for comparable
benefits.
