CHARITY RIDE
On the Saturday, before the Women�s Race begins, you have the opportunity to ride over the same, or part of, the course the professionals will use. You have the choice of three routes 24 miles, 8 miles or a do the both for a combined 32 miles ride. >More Details

THE COURSE

The course for this years championships comprises of two circuits, one large one to begin with and then a finishing circuit around the Celtic Manor Resort.

CELTIC MANOR RESORT NATIONAL ROAD RACE CHAMPIONSHIPS (MEN & WOMEN)

Notice for Written Press, Still Photographers and TV

In order to ensure that only accrediated media are present on the course or allocated space in following cars used for the Celtic Manor Resort National Road Race Championships, media representatives need to register prior to the races. The media liasion officer for the race will be Gareth Pugh, Marketing Director for the Welsh Cycling Union who will be present at the races. A form for those wanting accreditation is below. Please fill this in and return to the organiser.

PHOTOGRAPHERS/TV
Those wishing to take still pictures and/or television images on the course will be issued with photo/press 'bibs' where accreditation has been approved (as above). This is being done to ensure the safety of the riders at the start, during the race, and at the finish.

Anyone representing a media organisation/information point is asked to register with the races media liason officer (see above) so that there application can be considered and/or approved and then a 'bib' will be reserved for them. The bibs will be available on the day from British Cycling representitive, Larry Hickmott.

A maximum of 20 bibs will be made available to tv/photo press and priority will given to known media agencies. The bibs will ensure that stewards and officials are aware of who has right of access to the course/start-finish area.

IMPORTANT: Those not issued with bibs and wanting to take pictures, will be asked to remain behind barriers for the race where applicable.

IMPORTANT: The bibs are to be returned after each event for future use in British Cycling events.
