DYSON JOINS STRONG DATAPHONICS RACING TEAM

The Dataphonics team is pleased to welcome Carl Dyson to the Cambridge Cycling Academy/DataPhonics Racing Team for 2003. Carl, who is a second year junior and was 18 last week (same birthday as Ben Hallam) had an outstanding 2002 as a time triallist. He won the British Junior BBAR, the CTT Circuit Race series and was National Junior 25 champion by a huge margin.

This year Carl intends to do more road racing, both in the Peter Buckley Series and abroad with the team, and will be riding the track pursuit. A DataPhonics entry of Bruce Edgar (U16 Silver medallist 2001), Mark Cavendish (Junior Scratch Champion 2002), Tom Walters (GHS 10 Champion 2002) and Carl Dyson for the British Junior pursuit championships seem pretty potent to the team! Come to think of it, how about the DataPhonics juniors as a team in the Senior Team Pursuit? With our junior sprinter Jak Kenton-Spraggan, we have yet again one of the strongest junior squads in Britain, if not Europe.
