AND BADDOW CYCLO SPORTIVE |
The Southend Wheelers will again be organising the Burnham
& Baddow Cyclo Sportive on Sunday 2 February 2003.This Cyclo Sportive
has now become an established annual event in the South Essex area and
the 2002 event attracted 70 riders and raised £100 for Cancer Research.
There is a choice of distances all starting from East Hanningfield Village
Hall and they will suit all ages and abilities. There will be various
groups of no more than 12 riders in each for juniors, tourists, seniors
and veterans. The most popular 80km ride goes via South Woodham Ferrers,
Althorne, Burnham-on Crouch, Southminster, Tillingham, Bradwell, Latchingdon,
Maldon, Hatfield Peveral, Little Baddow, Bicknacre and back to East Hanningfield.
The 120km route is the same but takes in an extra loop via Burnham and
is particularly suited to riders wanting good quality training miles.

80km and 120km Charity Challenge Sunday 2nd February 2003 Starting at
9.00 am
at East Hanningfield Village Hall. Car Parking available at East Hanningfield
Village Hall - Route sheet provided. Refreshments at finish - Certificate
for finishers - All proceeds to charity. Entry on the line £3.00
