BUCKINGHAMSHIRE 100K.M. OFF–ROAD CLASSIC

West Drayton Mountain Bike Club/Beyond Mountain Bikes present the BUCKINGHAMSHIRE 100K.M. OFF–ROAD CLASSIC And mini 30 K.M. Classic on Sunday 20th April 2003.

This is a real challenge, a 100 K.M. Mountain Bike ride around the Buckinghamshire countryside starting and finishing at Denham Country Park, Denham roundabout, Denham , Buckinghamshire not a race but a test of cycling abilities and endurance.

· Starting times between 10 a.m. and 11 a.m.
· Marked route and easy to follow route guide provided.
· Challenging course with over 80% of the ride, off-road.
· Plenty of country pubs for those much-needed refreshments.
· Toilet facilities and refreshments available at the start and finish.
· 30 km mini classic for fun and youth riders.

In order to prevent conflict with other countryside users, Mountain bike riders are requested to give way to walkers and horses. Riders must wear a Hard Shell helmet; an adult must accompany Riders under 16. Entry fees in advance £7 or £10 on the day for the 100K.M (£5or £7 for the mini classic) cheques made payable to the West Drayton M.B.C.

This is a tough endurance event with the riding time estimated to be from 4.5 hours upwards for the 100 k.m. Course; although a refreshment stop is planned riders should take sufficient refreshments with them to sustain them for the ride.
Entry forms and further details available on www.westdraytonmbc.co.uk
