GALA PRESENTATION FOR PARROT PRINT/TAL RT

The 2003 team presentation of the Stilton registered Parrot Print TAL Racing Team was held in one of Peterboroughs biggest shopping complexes in Serpentine Green on Saturday (22nd). The venue and timing was a gamble by team director Dave Stanbridge who shared a stand with the National Kidney Research Fund whos HQ is in Peterborough. This gamble paid off judging by the comments of various people during the day. With the fund selling raffle tickets, one lady even thought the team car was the prize!

When sponsor Roger Broderick of Parrot Print was asked by a local journalist for a comment he uttered one word Outstanding. Co-sponsors Terry Wright Cycles representing Orbea, Specialized and Continental; website hosts T2 Digital and Coca Cola Enterprises representing Powerade were also equally impressed. Kidney patient Oliver Broderick, brother of our sponsor, was a guest of honour and the Fund reported brisk business on Donor Card applications.

During the day, ex local racing star Paul French made a corporate video of proceedings including the following training ride with the aim of trying to raise both sponsorship and awareness.

The team is :Gavin Poupart, Andy Lyons, Paul Dring, Roger Morgan, Steve Dring, Danny Axford. Missing from the picture is Dean Shannon who is on Majorcan training camp.

Dave Stanbridge, Team Director
