WCRA Luncheon & Training Weekend The latest news on the WCRA Luncheon & Training Weekend to be held on the 24th/25th January 2004 is that Tony Cooke has agreed to be the guest speaker. Held at the WCRA Luncheon at the Collingwood Suite, Gosling Stadium, Welwyn Garden City (25th Jan at 1pm), Tony will talk about Nicole's career to date, present preparation and future plans. The luncheon will form the conclusion of the final WCRA training weekend of this winter and will also see the WCRA presentations to their latest champions. The training weekend will cover various sessions - both on and off the bike and with close to 40 riders attending, is nearly fully booked. * The groups are aimed (roughly) at the following: Group A - 66 miles, top domestic riders (elite/1st cat level) Group B - 59 miles, competent/aspiring riders (2nd cat/good junior level) Group C - 52 miles, limited racing experience/club riders Group D - 45 miles, novices/youth riders The pace of the rides will depend on the group; Group A is aimed at averaging about 18mph, the others scaled down from this. The rides are not intended to be �tear-ups� but constructive training rides, emphasising good techniques, controlled riding, team-work and group responsibility. NOTES

Please bring - normal training kit x 2 (in case of bad weather) 3. We will have following cars for the rides � spare wheels would be useful, especially rears. 4. Please ensure that your bike and any spares are in good working order. 5. Please ensure that I have a recent Masseurs Form (emergency purposes only). 6.
