INAUGURAL CRAWLEY CRITERIUM
Crawley Borough Council in partnership with BAA Gatwick, Evans Cycles,
Crawley Leisure Park, English Partnerships, and Travelwise are holding
the first ever BAA Gatwick Crawley Town Centre Road Races on Sunday
16th May between 17.30 and 21.00. With a National Premier Series Race
(prize money inc £500 for the winner), a 3rd/4th Cat supporting
race and a Youth race, it promises to be a great evening of action.
As part of their sponsorship BAA Gatwick is purchasing 16 racing cycles
for use in the Schools Races, which then will be presented to the Crawley
Cycling Club for use by their youth section. The races are anticipated
to be the start of a whole week of cycling promotion in Crawley.
