COMPETITION REVIEW WORKSHOPS

As many of you will already know, British Cycling is in the middle of a detailed review of the competition structure of cycling in this country.

Link to recent news story >>>>>

An online questionnaire earlier this year enabled us to collect the feedback of well over a thousand members and other cyclists. British Cycling is now taking the findings of this survey, plus the results of some internal reviews of the sport and how it runs, out to a series of Workshops around the country.

These workshops are open to everyone with an interest in cycling, though we do ask that you register your intention to attend with us beforehand.

We'll be keeping you up to date with where and when the workshops take place over the next few weeks.

The following dates and locations are the first to be announced:

Tuesday the 30th September North East

Shotton Hall
Old Shotton
Peterlee
Co Durham
SR8 2PH.

Friday the 3rd October, Yorkshire

West Yorkshire Police Training School
Bishopgarth
Westfield Road
Wakefield
WF1 3QZ

Both presentations are booked to start at 7pm with tea and coffee available on arrival. Anyone wishing to attend should advise Alison Johnson by fax, e-mail or by phone so we can be sure the capacity of the rooms is sufficient. Contacts - fax 0161 274 2095, e-mail AlisonJohnson@britishcycling.org.uk, phone 0161 274 2090.
