PrestigeVC.com Continually Moving Forward

PRESS RELEASE: Prestigevc.com/Viner bikes/SiS/MAR services/Cyclecamps.com

Prestige VC.com would like to announce three new prolific riders for the remainder of 2003 and into next year. The three riders represent a vast range across Cycle Sport in the UK, from race promotion and Queens honours, to Commonwealth Games 'Tours de force' to encouraging young riders.

Gary Kristiensen MBE
With an MBE last year for amongst other things, services to Army cycling, Gary has been a good friend to many of the team riders, he is a prolific race promoter - doing the Eelmoor Crits every Wednesday night during the summer, as well as a highly respected and vociferous supporter of British cycling. Gary K has been on several of our team international racing trips - and basically it was only a matter of time before he pulled on a Prestigevc.com shirt. Oh and he is also quite a handy E/1 road/track/ TT racer too, nearly as good as his girlfriend Kat even though she is pregnant! Gary will continue his commitments to the Army CU but with more of a racing team capacity with PrestigeVC.com.

Duncan Urquhart
Also in the Army and recently back from his post in the Gulf off the bike and straight back in to the results in the UK! Duncan (Elite Cat.) can resume his light duties in the Army and continue his intensive riding commitments that the Army allow him due to the fact that is a Scottish Champion, 16th in the last Commonwealth Games and has numerous placings in the Premier Calendar events over the last few years. Including a recent stage win in the Surrey League Revolutions 5-Day Elite stage race.

Finally ...
PVC are looking to support 17 year old Richard Wakor from Berkshire (Previously with CCB2000). With some impressive showings in the Junior Peter Buckley series and several Junior rr wins, Richard is a real fighter, with un paralleled professionalism and dedication to racing and training. He rose to PVC attention when he rode a few senior E/1/2/3 rr's with dispensation from the BCF.

Un-inhibited by the mass of elite riders and the distance he was determined to get in the break, he was up there in the early (After 3km, race winning) break with PVC rider Andrew Riggy in the Mid Week RR at Alfold Surrey. Rigg said he was giving everyone a hard time, never missing turns, attacking and really digging in when it got hard! - For a rider so young he only just faltered in the last few miles. With some PVC support and a little more experience Richard has the mentality to be a champion and win many races. Prestigevc.com who have 2 ex National junior squad riders in the team and support from Eddie White the Ex National Junior Team Manager, we are pleased to be supporting a rider like Richard who will no doubt reciprocate our support with much success.

All 3 riders will be riding Viner Bikes for 2003 and all 3 will fit in perfectly with the racing characteristics of Prestigevc.com
