Countdown on for Hove Park Series in May

The first Sussex CRL Hove Park Series (25th April) cancelled owing to bizarre circumstances. A transformer on an industrial site next the circuit was arcing over and threatening to explode. Fire Brigade were called and roped off part of the circuit until it could be switched off by the Electricity company. This would have delayed the start until too near to the daylight end. Two years ago an event had to be cancelled when the council double booked the circuit area to a circus. But, for riders planning to take part, the next event is 16th May, and then 30th

The race are run on a 1km circuit with a small hill. Hove Park is off Old Shoreham Road, Hove. Events start at 18-30 for all category juveniles, and a 19.00 event for 2/3/4/W/J.

Prizes are based on points over the series with prizes for each Juvenile cat and best on general and for 1st in each cat in the main event.
