Leave the grass and roadway in front of the hall clear for traffic and the race convoy. There is plenty of room at the rear of the hall but park to preserve access for others and to allow access and exit during the race. Every year, after youve gone, we spend the first lap at HQ trying to extricate someone's family car that's blocked in. On no account park on the road anywhere on the course. 3. Riders should be familiar with all British Cycling Federation rules governing their participation in the event and comply accordingly. 4. Neutral service will be provided by, Bob Starey from blue Volvo estate number G962LGP, which will be parked pre-race just inside entrance to HQ field, but only if riders provide sufficient spare wheels. Mark your wheels clearly with your name and number. At previous races in this area race service failed because not enough wheels were offered. Other following cars are not allowed; make sure your supporters and sponsors know that too. 5. Commissaires' briefing and instructions will be in the hall at HQ at 1050. Attendance is Mandatory. Be there! 6. Line up behind the lead car in the HQ driveway ready for the start immediately after the commissaire's instructions. Don't get left behind; it has happened! The roadway and bend outside the hall has poor vision; so be cautious entering and leaving the HQ area on your bike and in your car. 7. In past years the handing-up of bottles has been hazardous. Feeding will be restricted to Chiddingfold Road on the Dunsfold circuit and Skiff Road on the Kirdford circuit. Make sure your helpers are aware of this instruction. 8. There are a lot of horses around here. If horses are encountered during the race, please act in a calm, responsible and courteous manner. 9. Refreshments will be available for competitors and spectators at the event HQ during the day. Please treat the hall and its environs with respect. 10. The presentation of prizes will be made at the event HQ as soon as practicable after the event. 11. Local residents complained of nuisance in the finish area some years ago. Please respect their property, their access and their privacy.
