NATIONAL COUNCIL 2002 The elected representatives of the British Cycling membership met for the 2002 National Council annual meeting at the national cycling centre on Sunday 24th November. They heard presentations on the financial position of the organisation and on the future strategy of British Cycling, including the important review of the sport recently launched under the name Project China. For outline details of these presentations, click here... They also voted on a series of proposed changes to the organisation's Articles of Association. Important news included the raising of membership and licence fees to help fund the radical changes the organisation plans in the near future.
